Ciganos d'Ouro is a Portuguese band formed in 1994 by brothers José Pato and Sérgio Silva. They began by performing at cultural events within the Portuguese Roma community but quickly expanded to international stages, participating in gypsy and world music festivals across countries such as Belgium, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Macau, and the Czech Republic. Their sound blends flamenco and cante jondo with influences from fado, jazz, tango, morna, and Balkan music, resulting in a unique and innovative musical style.
